Nature Science

Curiosity leads the way as the outdoors becomes your living laboratory for real discovery.

The lowdown

Nature Science turns Kimbercote's 100 acres into a living laboratory. You'll test creek water, dig into soil layers, and study insects up close — asking big questions and running real experiments along the way. It's hands-on science where the woods, not a textbook, hold the answers.

Your adventure

A day on it

At WILDE Camp, Nature Science turns the outdoors into a living laboratory. Campers investigate ecosystems, experiment with natural materials, observe wildlife patterns, and explore the soil and water systems around them. Big questions lead the way: How does this creek work? Why do plants grow toward the sun? What's living under that log?

Through guided experiments, creative inquiry, and outdoor exploration, kids engage with real scientific concepts in ways that feel active, meaningful, and fun. Nature Science blends curiosity, critical thinking, and adventure — helping campers understand not just what they see in nature, but why it works the way it does.

Dear Adventurer

In Nature Science, you get to be a real outdoor scientist! Test creek water, dig into soil layers, study insects up close, and figure out how plants grow toward the sun — asking big questions, trying things out, and making cool discoveries with your crew, sometimes getting a little messy along the way.

See you on the trail,
The WILDE crew
